Suits/petitions are to be typed in double space on judicial paper with proper margins.

Appropriate Court Fee is to be affixed except in cases where the petitioner is suing as an indigent person.

All types of cases of The Court of District and Sessions Judge Shillong as well as that of the Additional Deputy Commissioner Shillong are filed in the office of the Sheristadar, Court of District and Sessions Judge Shillong.

All the court summons, notices etc. issued by the Court of District and Sessions Judge and its subordinate courts are handed over to the nazir of the court for causing service and return.
